Group Benefits Agency, Inc. (GBA) may be paid for its services in any of several different ways. Some arrangements are best served by a specific fee agreement whereby GBA is paid direct compensation from a client. GBA may also be paid fees and/or commissions under separate agreements with insurers, reinsurers and/or insurance intermediaries. These separate agreements compensate GBA for its role in placing insurance coverage with the insurer, reinsurer and/or insurance intermediary by paying GBA fees or commissions based on the amount of the premium paid. GBA also has entered into some additional compensation arrangements in the form of commission overrides or otherwise based on factors that are not client specific such as aggregate loss experience and size or performance of an overall book of business placed with the company. Unless a specific agreement with a client directly provides otherwise, GBA customarily receives compensation as summarized above from insurers, reinsurers and/or insurance intermediaries for its professional services. GBA may be party to such agreements with one or more of the insurers, reinsurers or insurance intermediaries with or through which GBA places your insurance. At your request, GBA will be pleased to supply further details of any such fee, commission, override or other compensation that relates to your account. |
